Effective Date: 16 October 2026
1. Purpose and Commitment
Help By God Trust aims to handle donations responsibly and in accordance with the purpose communicated to donors. Donations may support medical treatment, medicines, education, food distribution, bhandara, essential assistance for economically disadvantaged families, marriage-related support, flood and disaster relief, and other activities permitted by the Trust Deed and applicable law.
2. Medical Treatment Donations
Depending on the campaign, eligible expenses may include hospital treatment, surgery, consultations, diagnostic tests, medicines, medical supplies, prescribed equipment, follow-up treatment, rehabilitation and reasonable treatment-related travel, accommodation, nutrition or attendant expenses where appropriate and permitted.
3. Fundraising Targets
A target such as ₹10,00,000 is an estimated amount sought. It does not guarantee that the target will be achieved or that all treatment expenses will be covered.
4. If Full Funding Cannot Be Collected
If the required amount cannot be collected within the necessary timeframe, the Trust will make reasonable and sincere efforts to seek additional support from donors, supporters and other potential charitable sources where possible. It may coordinate with the beneficiary's family or treating hospital to understand the outstanding requirement. The Trust cannot guarantee that the full amount will be arranged. Available funds will be handled according to campaign disclosures, donor restrictions, the Trust Deed and applicable law.
5. Surplus Funds: Example
If a campaign raises ₹10,00,000 and verified eligible treatment expenses are ₹7,00,000, the remaining ₹3,00,000 does not automatically become unrestricted money.
6. Order of Consideration for Surplus
Subject to campaign terms, donor restrictions and applicable law, the Trust may first consider further eligible care for the same beneficiary; second, essential treatment-related support; third, another eligible patient or medical programme if permitted; and fourth, another charitable purpose only where campaign disclosures, donor restrictions, the Trust Deed and applicable law permit it. Funds collected for a named patient or restricted purpose will not automatically be redirected to an unrelated cause.
7. Campaign Cannot Proceed
If treatment requirements change or a campaign becomes impossible or impractical to continue, the Trust will review available funds and the circumstances under the disclosed terms and applicable law. Where practicable, material updates will be communicated. Refunds or alternative uses of unspent funds will be handled according to campaign terms, donor restrictions and applicable law.
8. Education Support
Education donations may support eligible books, stationery, learning materials, school-related necessities or other educational assistance consistent with the campaign. Assistance depends on verified need, available funds and programme criteria.
9. Food Distribution and Bhandara
The Trust may support meals, groceries, drinking water, food preparation and distribution for people experiencing hunger or hardship. Eligible costs may include supplies, transportation and necessary programme costs where permitted.
10. Marriage Assistance
The Trust may support eligible economically disadvantaged families with essential marriage-related needs, such as basic clothing, food or necessary household items. Assistance is subject to verification, available resources and applicable law. Donations restricted to a different campaign will not automatically be used for marriage assistance.
11. Flood and Disaster Relief
The Trust may support communities affected by floods and emergencies, including in Bihar and Assam, depending on verified needs, available funds and operational access. Assistance may include food, water, clothing, blankets, hygiene supplies, essential goods and other permitted relief.
12. Programme Costs and Records
Where disclosed and legally permitted, reasonable expenses may include payment processing, verification, documentation, communication, transportation, food distribution, relief logistics and programme administration. The Trust aims to maintain appropriate records of donations, transactions, campaign information, assistance and relevant expenditure.
13. No Guarantee
The Trust will make reasonable efforts to assist eligible beneficiaries within its capacity but cannot guarantee a fundraising target, full coverage of expenses, assistance to every applicant or a particular medical outcome.
